I left my dog with my husband's parents for just 6 hours..(dog was 13 y.o., just operated :removed few tumors)
In the morning of this day she was feeling good: did drink some water, walk very goodly (only had a bad appetite), so I thought, she was ready to stay without me, for a while.
But, when I was back home, I've seen that the dog is agitated, could not stop walking while her back legs were already very tired and also she stopped drinking water.
(my husband's parents told me after, that she keept doing it all day through)
...She keept walking until 01:30 , at 03:00 she started crying every 30 min. till 05:00 of the next day..
the parents said , they did try to call the veterinary and the vet promissed to come but she did not (now I doubdt that they even called her).
My dog died at 14:00 hours, from what did seem to be a total necrosis or not enough blood coming to the organs:eyes, thounge etc...(but it was not heart or long falier),
she was awake untill the last moment.
I had a lot of dogs in my life, they did live untill old age and eventually died, some of them even had cancer or tumors also, but never saw anyone die like this, that was vierd....
Does anybody have an idea what was done to my dog while I was not home? Please help me to find some answers, I can't rest untill I do......
